I have always loved to draw. Comics are my preferred medium, but I've recently produced a number of text-based zines.
ARE THERE ANY MATERIALS THAT YOU USE REGULARLY FOR YOUR ART OR ARE ‘MUST HAVES?’

Not really. You'll either make time to make art or you won't. Some more formal instruction would be helpful.
