WHO ARE YOU KNOWN AS, AND HOW DID YOU GET INTO ART?
I go by TheQueenCass and I started doing art ever since I was little and always trying to draw and design clothing, then I got more into drawing and painting. I love psychedelia and any form of abstract art.
ARE THERE ANY MATERIALS THAT YOU USE REGULARLY FOR YOUR ART OR ARE ‘MUST HAVES?’
I need music mostly. But just sitting with my art supplies and looking up inspiration from other artists helps a lot too.
IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD SAY HAS SHAPED YOUR ART THROUGH THE YEARS?
I draw inspiration from musicians such as MOD SUN and Sticky Fingers because that type of music is so soothing and awe inspiring. I love working with the nude women's body lately and nature landscapes and Tumblr and Instagram have helped me draw that inspiration into my art a lot.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FEARS OR WORRIES ABOUT THE ART COMMUNITY AND BEING A PART OF IT?
I definitely couldn't make it my full time career because I'm focused on music for that but I love sharing my art. I've already sold a piece that I did of a sunset and I'm super proud of that.
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST? (IN ANY MEDIUM)
My favourite artist is Andy Warhol for sure.
